EARLICOST is pleased to announce the opening of its 2nd Virtual Mobility (VM) Grant Call for 2026, offering researchers and innovators the opportunity to collaborate online, exchange knowledge and contribute to the scientific objectives of the EARLICOST COST Action.

Virtual Mobility Grants support online collaboration between researchers or innovators within the COST Action to exchange knowledge and carry out specific activities over a defined period. Financial support

Successful applicants may receive up to €1,500 in financial support. For this call, the EARLICOST Management Committee has allocated a total budget of approximately €2,800, with the aim of funding two Virtual Mobility proposals. Who can apply?

The call is open to eligible researchers and innovators affiliated with institutions in participating COST countries that have signed the EARLICOST Memorandum of Understanding, as well as eligible researchers from approved Near Neighbour Country institutions and European RTD Organisations participating in the Action.

Applications will be evaluated based on their scientific relevance to EARLICOST, their contribution to specific Working Groups or deliverables, the proposed collaborative work plan, and the expected outputs and benefits for the Action.

• Submit their application through e-COST.
• Complete the additional EARLICOST application form.
• Upload the required application information and a one-page CV, including publications and previous visiting fellowships.
