EARLICOST Virtual Mobility (VM) Grant Call Is Now Open!
EARLICOST COST Action is opening its 1st Virtual Mobility (VM) Grant Call, offering a new funding opportunity to support online collaboration, knowledge exchange and specific joint activities across the EARLICOST network.
Available Grant:
- Virtual Mobility (VM) Grant – Support for researchers and innovators to collaborate in an online setting, exchange knowledge, and carry out specific work contributing to the objectives, Working Groups and deliverables of EARLICOST. VMs must have a minimum duration of 5 days and be completed within the current Grant Period.
For this call, EARLICOST aims to support approximately 17 VM proposals, with funding of up to €1,500 per successful applicant. The final amount awarded will depend on the duration, scope, and complexity of the proposed activities and the evaluation of the application.

- Notification of Results: 21 September 2026
- VM Activity Period: Activities must be completed by 10 October 2026
- Report submission deadline: 12 October 2026

3. Complete the additional EARLICOST application form:

4. Upload the required application documents, including the e-COST application form and a 1-page CV. The application should describe the proposed VM, its contribution to EARLICOST objectives and Working Groups, the working plan, expected outputs, and its contribution to Action deliverables.

Applications will be evaluated based on their scientific relevance and contribution to EARLICOST objectives, specific deliverables and Working Groups, the proposed strategy and collaborative plan, and the expected outputs and benefits for the Action. The selection process will also take into account COST policies related to gender balance, Young Researchers and Innovators, geographical inclusiveness and participation from ITC countries.
